Accents by Grace; owned and operated by Grace Bonnette, has helped with bridal fashions, proms and special event wear in Inverness Olde Towne since she opened her shop December of 1999. She features wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses, special occasion and mother of the bride dresses and prom gowns, scarves, gloves and fabulous jewelry for the ladies and for the men, the latest in fashion tuxedos from Black Tie Ltd, After Hours and Paul Morrell. The shop also offers for sale vests and ties, formal shirts, shoes and accessories for men. She’s the lady to see if you need silk flowers, recommendations for a horse drawn carriage or a limo and she can help you with your wedding or other special event invitations, too.
Grace is quick to add that she also has beautiful things for everyday wear, as well. She has hand made jewelry by Karen Antonelli and Lilly McAteer of Gem Garden, engraveable gifts and handmade cards for gift giving by Marjorie Burke of Something Beautiful. What she does not have on hand Grace can easily order from one of her many vendors; and she always has a sale rack with items from $10 to $70. For friendly, professional service, 30+ years of know-how and a sharp eye for the details, Grace is your source for your very special day or formal occasion.
One of the wonderful features of her multi-faceted business is her hands on, small town, cordial gentility. Grace; a 6th generation native Floridian has two daughters and four grandchildren. She started her wedding business actually back in 1971 helping her three sisters, nieces, and friends with their weddings. She has many years of experience and knowledge to share with today’s brides, “I have always been very craft-oriented and often participated in shows, so making weddings beautiful and memorable was a natural step for me. Now, I have two wonderful professional seamstresses, Andrea Oat and Laura Roberts, who have worked for designers to do the alterations and our goal is to make your special day, whatever day it is and whatever your budget is, PERFECT.”
